Woods, Charles Edward Aug. 1, 1941 - Jan. 30, 2010, age 68, of Bloomington, MN was born in Mpls to John Wesley Woods and Alice Marian Woods. Chuck, as he was known by, graduated from Central High School in Mpls. He received a BS degree from the U of M Institute of Technology in 1971. Over the years he was employed at Despatch Oven of Golden Valley, Control Data Corporation and the State of MN Highway Dept. (MnDOT), he retired 2008. Chuck was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and was devoted to his pets. He was a past member of the Mpls Gospel Tabernacle. Preceded in death by parents, John and Alice Woods. Survived by sister, Marian (Lee) Waldon of Buffalo, MN; nieces and nephew, Michelle, Laura, and Chad Waldon; great-niece, Sophie. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery. Memorial service 7 PM Wed., Feb. 3 with gathering one hour prior to service, all at: Washburn-McReavy Werness Brothers Chapel 2300 W Old Shakopee Rd 952-884-8145
