RESIDENCE - Bloomington, MN, presently. Lived in Mt. Clemens, MI for two years while Rick was in the Air Force.

SCHOOLING/JOBS/CAREERS - Attended University of Minnesota for 1+ years. Worked 2 years at Northwestern Bell as a long distance operator to earn money for school. Worked 20 years for a medical supply company, and 20 years at the Izaak Walton League Midwest Office as office manager.

FAMILY - Married Richard (Rick) Mansfield in 1962; celebrated 46th anniversary last year; have 2 daughters - neither is married, no grandchildren. Seven siblings, all reside in the Upper Midwest; 12 nieces/nephews. Mother and father both deceased.

PETS - None at our house at present, but we have 4 “grand-cats”!

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS - I have loved sewing since I was a young girl, and used to make all my clothing, and most of our daughters’ clothing. Now, my sewing consists mostly of craft-type things, and “stuff” for the house. We travel a lot, (Panama Canal and Alaska cruises, several European trips, countless road trips in the USA) and I take lots of photos for “memory” books. I also enjoy reading, movies, walking, and am a beginning gardener (since retirement).

RETIRED? - Yes!!! I retired 3 years ago from the Izaak Walton League, which is a conservation organization. I still keep in contact with the wonderful people I worked with there.

COMMENTS - The years have gone by so quickly. I still feel young inside, and wonder who is the gray-haired lady that looks back at me from the mirror?! This is such a trite statement, but I know many of us feel this way!
