Bobby Lyle

Bobby Lyle: Jazz Performer. Graduated, 1962. Bobby began his career with piano lessons from his mother Elise Lyle (who was once a teacher at Central) at age seven. While attending Central he was taking many music classes, including some at MacPhail music center. He was also active in the many talent shows at Central. Upon graduating he went to Macalester College. In 1973 he won the National Yamaha organ contest in Japan. Currently (written 1982) he is a recording and performing artist.
