Jones, Judy A. 74 years, of Minneapolis, passed away August 12, 2013. Survived by son, Jeff Flavin (Melonie); grandchildren, Kyle, Christian, and Calyne Flavin; nieces and nephews. Service 10 AM Saturday, PARK AVENUE METHODIST CHURCH, 3400 Park Avenue, Minneapolis. Visitation 4-7 PM Thursday, THOMSON-DOUGHERTY MANSION 2535 Park Avenue, Minneapolis. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Sole Care for Souls. Historic Thomson-Dougherty 612-871-4407.

50th reunion comments

Thinking back, we are blessed to have been 1957 graduates and not 2007 graduates. We were not perfect; however we had less evil to deal with. Our classmates did not die from gunshot wounds. We did not have to carry bullet-proof back packs; in fact we didn’t even carry back packs. Losing Russ to cancer was a great loss for us to deal with, but it was not a violent death. I am grateful and thankful to be a 1957 graduate and thank God for that history
