Frank, Sandra (Watson, Dinsmore) age 76 of Las Vegas, NV, passed away September 24, 2016. Preceded in death by husband, Dr. James Frank. Survived by brother, Lee (Helen) Watson, nieces, Sheri, Katie (Mike); nephew, Matthew (Tracy); and great nephew, Cameron. I moved to Las Vegas in 1990. I founded the Minnesota Club, co-founded the Westside Newcomers Club, volunteer at a Children’s Orphanage, and co-founded the Las Vegas Philharmonic Guild and am a member of many women’s clubs and the Red Hat Society, and am on the Guild Board for the Clark County Heritage Museum. Also, I am very involved with the Hennepin History Museum in Minneapolis. I provide scholarships for students and still collect antiques and my favorite color is still purple. I married Dr. James W. Frank in 2003. We had a large wedding with 29 bridesmaids in attendance and 1 best man. My husband is on the Board of Directors of the Las Vegas Philharmonic and the Republican Men’s Club, President of Opera Las Vegas and a volunteer at the Red Rock Canyon Visitors Center. For the past three years, we have traveled to Washington DC to attend an event at the Department of State Building. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice hosts a reception in the Diplomatic Reception Rooms on the top floor. We travel often, most recently to Brazil.
