I remember being in class with John Campbell and having Lenore Morris drum her long, red, painted fingernails on her desk when she told John to behave. John, were you the one who cut a hole in our art teacher’s dress? Do you remember Joan Baron’s ½ slip that she made out of window screening so her full skirt would stick out more than the others? I remember helping teach one of the Torrence twins how to dance. I also remember being on a continual diet and eating Rye Krisp and a boiled egg for lunch. After teaching Home Ec. For 3 years in MN, I went to Ann Arbor, Michigan and earned a degree in Guidance & Counseling. Bob and I married after dating for 6 years. He finally thought it might be a good idea after I almost married another fellow from Kansas City. We do not have any children but have had a very interesting life living in our bus for 4 years when I retired from counseling in Lombard, IL. We love the hill country of Texas and don’t miss the snow and cold weather of the Chicagoland area or Minnesota.
