Timothy P. Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald, Timothy P. age 72, of Bloomington, passed away on April 1, 2012. Preceded in death by parents; son, Emmett; and siblings, James, Mike, Paul, and Bridget. Survived by wife, Vicki; children, Stephanie (Ruth), Barbara, Gina, and David (Hiedi); grandchildren, Alex, Colleen, Michael, and Katie; and siblings, Stephen, Marianne, and John. Tim was a generous, honorable, and wise man; an engineer, inventor, teacher, philosopher, and mentor. In retirement he became an advocate for children as a Guardian ad Litem for the State of Minnesota. Tim was a man who gave without remembering and received without forgetting; a man who sought order from the chaos of life and strove to do the right thing, not just the good thing. He was adventurous, funny, and loved animals. Our lives will be left poorer by his absence. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, April 9, with visitation 1 hour prior to service, at Church of the Incarnation, 3817 Pleasant Ave S., Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Catholic Charities, www.ccspm.org.
