	June Robertson
Beisch, June (Robertson) Died on Wednesday, May 26th in Cambridge, MA. June studied theater at the University of Minnesota and later received an ALM degree from Harvard after which she launched a career teaching literature and writing. Her award-winning book Fatherless Woman led to a series of public readings and book tours. A recipient of numerous fellowships and awards, three of her poems were featured on Garrison Keillor's The Writer's Almanac. Surviving June are husband, Charles and son, Brooks; daughter, Leigh and son-in-law, Dana Muise; granddaughter, Eva; sisters, Carol Alm (Gary) and Mary Nelson. Private family burial. Memorial service June 25th in Cambridge. Published in Star Tribune on June 6, 2010
	Here is June's last update about the life she lived: June Robertson Beisch now lives in Cambridge with her husband, Charles Beisch, a former creative director at McCann Erickson in London, New York and San Francisco. Both June and Çharles are now adjunct professors... June at Emerson College where she teaches American literature. She is the author of two books of poems and has published literary criticislm, fiction and essays. Her essay "The Wolf" was named a "notable essay of l998 by Robert Åtwan. Å former actress, journalist and writer, she was an interviewer for WGBH radio in Boston. She has lived in New York, London and San Francisco, as well as in a farmhouse in Concord and a small historic house in Cambridge. Her daughter is Leigh Beisch, a photographer in San Francisco and her son is director of Nine Dot Square in Boston. For more info on June, go to google and type in her name.
